On the may 7, 2020, Google developers opened access to download the new mobile app Read Along, which helps primary school students improve their reading technique and stay in education during the pandemic. The updated product for Android was based on Google Bolo. It launched in India in 2019 with a list of stories in English and Hindi. One of the innovations, support for nine languages, allows users around the globe to use the app. Like its predecessor, the Read Along app uses a voice recognition system and converts text to speech. This helps to improve the development of reading techniques in children. The service has a built-in assistant Diya. If the child has difficulty reading a sentence, there is a word that the child does not know, then Diya is able to help the child. You can call the assistant at any time.
